• Monarch Airlines - Senior Leadership Development

  Monarch Airlines has engaged Linac in the design and delivery of a series of senior leadership team discovery and development workshops. The focus is on effective team working and enabling leaders to have a true understanding of themselves and an appreciation of others. Learning hones the skills required to recognise respective strengths and challenges in a team and explores how individual unique preferences affect the way people like to manage and be managed, communicate and engage. Workshops develop the skills and tactics needed to adapt behaviour to meet the preferences of others to ensure effective communication.

• Melia Hotels International - Run a Hospital!

  Following the tremendous success of recent training programmes, which included emotional intelligence using horses, Linac has recently launched a new programme for the senior management teams at the Melia White House in Regent's Park London. This time round the teams faced the challenge of managing a hospital for 24 hours! Teams started by participating in a leading psychometric to gain an insightful understanding of themselves and others, before then progressing to the more challenging task of running a hospital. The pressurised team simulation tested team capability to the limit and promoted improved team understanding and awareness and increased effective levels of colloboration.

• Carlsberg - Management Development Success

  In addition to delivering a suite of courses, Linac was selected as the training provider of choice to design and deliver a new look Management Development programme. The modular programme focuses strongly on learning application and ROI. As a starting point the programme uses a reknowned psychometric which provides individuals and groups with an accurate insight into themselves and others. The programme then centres on three key themes the capability to manage self, to manage teams and to manage more effectively within a compex business. This highly engaging development programme has received plaudits from all levels within Carlsberg and has had a significant impact.

• Severn Trent Water - Competency Interviewing

  Severn Trent Water has selected Linac to deliver a Competency Based Interviewing Skills programme to the business. Working with Severn Trent Water and Capita, Linac has deisgned a highly practical of one day course. The course which is based on the business's desired behaviours focuses on the quality of the interview experience and on improving recruitment and retention key results.

• Chartered Insurance Institute - Inspired Training

  Linac rolls out the CII's core Train the Trainer programme, with more courses planned for this year and into 2012. The programme has been instrumental in helping to deliver consistent quality training in accordance with agreed standards and code of practice.

• Bristan - New Courses Launched

  Linac helps Bristan add new courses to it's development framework. Following the hugely successful Impact and Influencing skills course Linac has developed new courses for Coaching, Project Management and Difficult Conversations. All courses have been tailored specifically to the business, with the Difficult Conversations course looking to underpin improved performance at individual, team and organisational level.

• GlaxoSmithKline - Train the Trainer & Train the Assessor

  GSK roll out and book more Train the Trainer and Train the Assessor courses with Linac. Following a successful 7 year relationship, the Ribenna manufacturing site in Coleford in Gloucestershire continues to roll out and deliver more courses to the operating teams aimed at standardising skills and ensuring compliance.

• Centre for Strategy & Leadership

  Linac and The Centre for Strategy & Leadership have agreed to collaborate in the fields of international research, strategic thinking, leadership, entrepreneurship, business innovation and change management.

• Valspar Industries Look to Linac

  Following a highly successful online culture and values survey Linac has been tasked with embedding and aligning behaviour to the new values and aspired culture through a series of ‘Living the Values’ workshops aimed at people mangers within the organisation. Additional strategic workshops with the senior team will are map out the immediate strategic objectives for the company over the next twelve months.
