In April Linac took its popular ROI workshop to Russia for the first time. Working with Business Training Russia, Linac's Russian partners, the workshop was adpated and translated for the Russian market.

The workshop was attended by some of Russia’s leading organisations including Bacardi, Johnson & Johnson, Price waterhouse, Reckitt Benkiser, AIG Life and Johnson Medical.

The workshop was a outstanding success. Business Training Russia, who partner Linac are now planning to roll the workshop out across the rest of Russia.

Following a high level of positive publicity after our ROI workshop in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Andrew Gissing, Linac's Learning & Director completed an exclusive interview with BBC Radio Gloucestershire on the workshops success. 

Andrew told BBC Radio Gloucester how the workshops were rapidly growing in popularity with new events being run in Dublin, Moscow and Amsterdam. Andrew also mentioned Linac’s plan to run the workshop in Birmingham and Manchester following the success of workshops in London. 

The ROI workshop is targeted at Training and HR professionals from all sectors and provides them with a highly practical toolkit with which they can accurately measure the success of key learning interventions.

2 August 2007 Press Release - Linac and Oxford elearning and Business Training Russia held talks with a view to providing Learning Management Systems and elearning into the Russian market.

September saw Linac launch its ROI Training methodology in Russia at the Training Expo 2007 held in Moscow.

Linac was delighted to be asked to attend the Training Expo Russia 2007 and present its ROI methodology. The presentation sparked a lively and informative discussion on probably the most important learning subject today.

We are delighted and excited to be working with Business Training Russia to take our ROI methodology to organisations in the Russian market".

The next 1-day public ROI workshop is being scheduled for January in Moscow and for the first time by our partner Business Training Russia will co-deliver the workshop with us.

1 June 2007 Press Release Linac is to hold further talks in Moscow with Business Training Russia to explore collaborative ways to work together within the Russian market. Business Training Russia (BTR) is one of Russia's leading education and training companies.

Linac's Andrew Terry explained: "BTR is a market leader in the delivery of corporate training in Russia and its clients include Audi, Bacardi, Sony, Volvo, L'Oreal, IKEA and Diageo to mention a few. As the Russian market continues to grow and mature, BTR foresees a requirement to build and adopt a more consultative and results-based approach to service delivery. 

Consequently, BTR and Linac are to hold further talks in Moscow during July with a view to agreeing terms to build a strategic alliance that will further enhance BTR's capability and help it remain at the forefront of an expanding and maturing market.

1 October 2007 Press Release - Linac has agreed a new partnership with Business Training Russia (BTR), Russia's leading training provider. Both organisations will work together to share knowledge and expertise and to promote services and products to help increase market share within their respective markets.

Linac joined Business Training Russia at the Training Expo in Moscow on 27-28 September. Linac's Managing Director, Andrew Terry explained: "The exhibition was a total success and the levels of interest shown by the Russian market in our services and products was extremely pleasing".

Linac delivered a show case presentation on Training ROI and Evaluation during the exhibition, which generated significant interest. Linac and BTR will launch the first of a series of ROI workshop starting in Moscow in January 2008.
